About Charlette

Charlette Owenby Wilson teaches at Eclectic Elementary School, and is currently attending the University of West Alabama to earn a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a native of Eclectic, a resident of Wetumpka, and a mom to two grown daughters. She just completed her 22nd year of teaching and is excited about her opportunity to work with Hope Grows to learn and grow as a counselor.

Before deciding to pursue her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Charlette earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education, a Master of Science in Elementary Education, and an Education Specialist degree in Elementary Education from Auburn Montgomery. She also earned her Doctorate in Reading Education from Nova Southeastern University.

She loves cruising, photography, family, beaches, and reading. Charlette holds close to her heart the desire to help a person become the best version of themselves, whether they be family, friends, or clients.

Due to her teaching schedule, Charlette is able to offer after-hours and Saturday appointments. While Charlette is a Master's student, her services are available at a reduced rate. Charlette is currently accepting new clients.
