About Mara
My journey to becoming a therapist looks a little different than most. My undergraduate degree is in nursing, and I spent years working as a Registered Nurse across various specialties. My time in the healthcare field gave me insight into how deeply our connections with others impact our physical and mental health.

Life recently brought me to Montgomery, Alabama, for my husband’s military service. Being a military spouse has given me a very personal look at the unique rhythm of military life, and I am committed to supporting military families through the specific challenges it can place on a relationship.

I think therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, not just a clinical checklist. I want to create a space where you feel safe enough to be real about your story. Every worldview is different, and I enjoy the journey of figuring out what growth looks like for you.
Currently, I am a graduate student at Capella University, practicing at Hope Grows under experienced clinical supervision. I'm honored to be a part of your walk forward.
On a personal note, I’m a firm believer in the restorative power of a quiet Sunday and a good cup of coffee. These small moments of peace help me show up fully for the people I care about, including my clients.

I am currently accepting new clients.
