About Stephen

 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Louisiana and licensed in both
Louisiana and Alabama. I graduated from Auburn University in 2015 with a BA in Psychology,
then moved to New Orleans to pursue my Master’s in Counseling, which I completed in 2019.

I have worked in the mental health field since 2015, beginning in substance abuse group
therapy and later in community-based health clinics. In 2025, I transitioned to private practice.

Over the years, I have found that helping people understand their internal world and
tending to the parts of them that have been wounded produces the best long-term results for the life they want to live. Faith is also a major part of my own life. As a Christian, I have seen meaningful progress with many clients when faith is integrated into the counseling process.
