About Patricia
Patricia Maurelli is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate based in central Alabama. Patricia finds joy in helping individuals and families grow and heal. She believes people often need nothing more than a little guidance to be able to navigate and cope with many life struggles and live a more meaningful life.

She has served for over 20 years in the Army and is currently and Army Reservist. Serving in the military has given her firsthand knowledge on what trauma can do to not only individuals but their families and the stigmas that surround seeking help. This is what motivated her to seek a full-time career that would allow her to help people that are experiencing different struggles such as overcoming stressful life transitions, having relationships issues, or are seeking to improve family dynamics.
Patricia earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in Northcentral (National) University and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Science of Sociology from Grand Canyon University. She is bilingual, speaking fluent English and Spanish. Patricia has worked with individuals, families, and groups in several different settings.
