About Anna
I am an Associate Licensed Counselor based in Alabama who works with adolescents and adults navigating life’s harder seasons. I believe therapy works best when it feels real and collaborative. You don’t have to impress me or have everything figured out before you walk into my office — you just have to show up as you are. I work alongside my clients to create goals that feel authentic and attainable, meeting you where you are and honoring your lived experiences. I’ll sit with you in the hard things, but I’ll also gently challenge you when growth calls for it.
The therapeutic relationship matters deeply to me. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and safe enough to be honest — even when that honesty feels messy or uncomfortable. My goal is not only symptom relief, but helping you build insight, resilience, and practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me fostering rescue dogs, planning my next beach trip, or holding an iced latte year-round (even in winter).
If you’re looking for a counselor who shows up as a real person and creates space for honest conversation, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I earned my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University at Montgomery and my Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Psychology from Auburn University (War Eagle!). I am currently under the supervision of Dr. James Wells.
I am currently accepting new clients.
