About Anna

Anna Watson is an Associate Licensed Counselor based in Alabama. Anna enjoys working with adolescents and adults and has experience guiding clients through difficult life challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management, bipolar disorder, and suicidal ideation. She is especially passionate about working with teenagers and helping them navigate identity development, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges while also enjoying the meaningful work of supporting adults through their own growth and healing.

Anna believes counseling is most effective when it is a collaborative process. She works alongside her clients to identify goals that feel authentic and attainable, meeting each person where they are and honoring their unique experiences. She strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be open and honest, knowing they are accepted without fear of criticism or shame.

Anna values building strong therapeutic relationships and believes healing occurs when clients feel heard, understood, and supported. Her goal is to help clients develop insight, resilience, and practical tools that support long-term emotional well-being.

Anna earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University at Montgomery and her Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Psychology from Auburn University. (War Eagle!) She is currently under the supervision of Dr. James Wells.

If you would like to learn more about her therapy style and see if she could be a good fit for you or your family, please feel free to contact her.

She is currently accepting new clients.
