About Liz

Liz Hart is an Associate Licensed Counselor and a National Certified Counselor who
especially enjoys working with children, adolescents, and women of all ages. She loves
empowering her clients as they learn to use their stories to become increasingly
resilient.

Liz understands that working with a therapist may feel uncomfortable at first, and she
works to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel welcomed and
seen. In addition to her counseling education, her life experiences as a pastor’s
spouse, mom to three, and former nurse have prepared her to meet clients wherever they are.

She earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn
University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama.
She also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mobile. Liz is
working towards her Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
certification and views clients and caregivers through an attachment-based lens when
appropriate. Liz is an ALC practicing under the supervision of Martha Ellis, LPC-S.

When Liz isn’t at work, she can be found spending time with her family and their dog,
Max. Her favorite place is on her back porch with a warm drink or watching Friday night
football games.

She is currently accepting new clients.
