About Liz
I am an Associate Licensed Counselor and a National Certified Counselor who
especially enjoys working with children, adolescents, and women of all ages. I love
empowering my clients as they learn to use their stories to become increasingly
resilient.
I understand that working with a therapist may feel uncomfortable at first, and I
work to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel welcomed and
seen. In addition to my counseling education, I am a pastor’s
spouse, mom to three, and former nurse - my life experiences have prepared me to meet my clients wherever they are.
I earned my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn
University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama.
I also have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mobile. I am
working towards my Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
certification and view clients and caregivers through an attachment-based lens when
appropriate. I am an ALC practicing under the supervision of Martha Ellis, LPC-S.
When I'm not at work, I can be found spending time with my family and our dog,
Max. My favorite place is on my back porch with a warm drink or watching Friday night
football games.

I am currently accepting new clients.
