2024 was a big year for Hope Grows, and 2025 has begun with a surprise - a new team member! With so many new additions to our team, it's time for a round-up. Join me, and get to know the newest members of the Hope Grows team.

Laura Glass, MA, ALC - Laura is the newest member of our team, joining the practice in January 2025. She graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She earned her Bachelor's from AUM in Montgomery and is excited to settle in the River Region. She has been serving as a counselor in Montgomery and is excited to expand to Wetumpka. Laura has a heart for service, and works with individuals of all ages, from childhood through senior adulthood. Learn more about Laura here.

Patricia Maurelli, MA, MFT Associate - Patricia joined the Hope Grows team in July 2024, and has been an asset from the beginning. She has served for over 20 years in the Army and is currently an Army Reservist. Her extensive military experience has given her a valuable understanding of trauma, stigma, and the importance of a healthy family system. Patricia is fluent in both English and Spanish, and she works with individuals, couples, and families. Learn more about Patricia here.

Christina Young, MFT Intern - Christina joined Hope Grows in January 2024 as an intern - one year ago! She was onsite with Hope Grows until switching to exclusively online in September 2024 when she relocated with her family to Missouri. She paused her work with Hope Grows in December 2024 in order to focus on her family and complete her degree following the move. However, she is within weeks of completing her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and hopes to resume conducting virtual sessions following her graduation! Learn more about Christina here.
2025 promises to continue being a big year with yet more surprises in store! Stay tuned for more practice news in the next couple of months. Hope Grows is growing!
